Andy and his machine made for an unforgettable elopement. He was very professional and we had an incredible adventure with him. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Skids up! :)

"BEST CREW EVER!! We chose West Coast Helicopters as our elopement package for a couple of reasons, the 1st being because of Andy. What a guy!!! Andy is incredibly knowledgeable, has a ton of flying experience, and went over and above to make sure our day was incredibly special. His charismatic, charming personality made us feel like we had known him for years! You can tell he invested a lot of time and effort into making our day truly amazing. He answered all questions (I had a lot) quickly and thoroughly, was available by phone/text, met us over zoom, put first-time flyers at ease, and kept us up-to-date with the changing weather (which was changing by the minute). Another reason we chose WCH was the elopement package itself. The all-inclusive option took a lot of the stress out of planning a wedding. The "Peak to Beach" package gives you both mountain and beach photos.....with stunning views, charcuterie, and champagne!!! Deanna & Yannick rounded out our crew and captured every moment in film and video. Absolutely incredible. 10/10 experience. Still on cloud nine. We could not have imagined a more memorable way to celebrate our wedding day with Andy (pilot and officiant). He was so great and took the stress out of wedding planning and provided us with a once in a lifetime experience, that we were not only able to share with a few of our closest friends, but also safely with our family in Ontario via Zoom. From the incredible flight itself, to the breath-taking views of Vancouver Island, every single moment of our day was magical.

After 2 years of no travel; I decided to look for what I call a "LifeDay" experience. For me; a LIFEDAY experience is something you do in one day that you will remember for a lifetime. After looking for options I decided to give West Coast Helicopters (WCH) a call to see if their services would be an option. If a trip were to be had it would be out of Nanaimo. I was directed to contact Andy Hatfield; pilot and operations manager for the WCH Nanaimo office. After contacting Andy; I knew that I had the RIGHT person to look after our needs. Working with Andy we put together a fabulous flight plan that included 3 stops. Andy was patient, understanding, professional and above all else displayed a willingness to provide a trip that would make a "LIFETIME" day. My family and I talked about our day once the flight was over. The four of us scored the day as a PERFECT 10 out of 10. We had perfect weather and WCH provided us with the perfect helicopter and pilot. If there are others who want to experience a "LifeDay" give WCH a call. They can provide you the adventure.

Phenomenal company!! My husband and I booked an elopment package with West Coast Helicopters and had a spectacular wedding on top of Mount Cokely. Our pilot, Andy, went above and beyond from the moment we started communications, even attaining a wedding officiant licence so he could marry us! I highly recommend this company for all of your flying needs. We will be booking a mountain top beer tasting soon! Want to join us?!
